The first three seconds decide the rest

Retention curves are steepest at the start. The skeletons therefore open with a concrete claim, a visible result, or a question the viewer already asks themselves — never with an introduction of who you are.

A hook that states a specific outcome ('this took 11 minutes instead of 3 hours') outperforms a hook that states a topic ('today we talk about automation') because it gives the viewer a reason to stay.

A skeleton, not a script

What you get is structure: hook, context, three beats, payoff, call to action. The words inside each beat should be yours, because templated phrasing is exactly what platform algorithms and audiences punish.

Place the call to action where attention still exists — typically after the payoff, not at the very end where most viewers have already left.
