Define 'done' before you start
Most scope disputes are not disagreements about effort — they are disagreements about what was promised. The checklist forces a written definition of done: exact deliverables, file formats, number of pages or assets, and what explicitly is not included.
Anything left ambiguous will be interpreted in the client's favour, because the client is the one who benefits from a wider reading.
Revision counts and change orders
The checklist asks you to state a revision limit and what happens past it. Two rounds included, further rounds at an hourly rate, is a normal, defensible arrangement that clients accept when it appears before work begins.
Change orders do not need to be elaborate. A two-line email confirming the new request, its price and its effect on the timeline is enough to protect both sides.
